Bethesda Child Support Foundation
Bethesda Child Support Agency (Bethesda) is a non-profit organization established in 2001 by Mrs. Nkoyo Rapu. The primary focus of Bethesda is to mobilize efforts of government, private sector and other development agencies towards securing educational opportunities for children in poor communities.
Bethesda is a social development organization whose vision is to create an enabling environment for disadvantaged children that empowers them to thrive, grow, and develop to their full potential.
Founded in 2001, Bethesda in its 21 years has provided free quality education through the assistance of partners and sponsors to over 6,000 orphans and vulnerable children in Lagos and Ogun State with over 1,000 school-age children currently spread across its three tuition-free schools in Ikota (Lagos), Ijaiye-Ojokoro (Lagos), and Matogun (Ogun) communities.
Bethesda also engages in other social development programs like community service (Health 24), mentoring opportunities (Project BE!) and scholarship programs.
To create an enabling environment for disadvantaged children that empowers them to thrive, grow, and develop to their full potential.
To mobilize community resources with the assistance of partners to help children from impoverished backgrounds secure a better future through education and in that way break the generational cycle of poverty existing in their families.
We’re on a mission to empower disadvantaged children to thrive, grow, and develop to their full potential. Join us.
